For What Is Fierce, For What Is Fragile, For What Is Forever

For What Is Fierce, For What Is Fragile, For What Is Forever

An Ode to the Wild

Nature has always been my greatest teacher — patient, unpredictable, and endlessly generous. It’s where I’ve learned how to listen, how to slow down, and how to see beauty in small things: a feather caught in a breeze, the curl of new fern fronds, the sound of wind through trembling aspens.

Alberta is where that love story began. Its prairies, boreal forests, and endless skies taught me what it means to be both grounded and free — to stand tall and to bend with the wind. Every season feels like a conversation here: spring whispers renewal, summer hums with life, autumn reminds you to let go, and winter keeps you still enough to notice your own heartbeat.

The Space Between Work and Wonder

If you’ve ever driven through Alberta at sunrise, you know there’s a kind of quiet magic here — the way light drifts across open fields, how aspen leaves shimmer like coins, how a loon’s call can stop you mid-step.

This is the place that built me.
I grew up exploring its lakes and forests, and later, I had the privilege of working in them — as a park ranger, spending my days immersed in the rhythm of the wild.

When I’m home, I still chase that feeling — sketching, designing, and creating to hold onto the peace I find outside.
That’s how Twig Creations came to life: from a desire to keep a piece of nature close, and to help others feel that same quiet pull toward the outdoors — no matter where they are.

For What Is Fierce, For What Is Fragile, For What Is Forever

Nature is all of those things at once — fierce in its storms and survival, fragile in its fleeting beauty, forever in its quiet resilience.

That’s the balance I try to capture in every design. Whether it’s a sticker of a chickadee, a cozy crewneck in the color of moss, or a cup printed with wildflowers or mushrooms — each one is a small celebration of the world that inspires it.

It’s not about recreating nature perfectly. It’s about remembering it — in our routines, our homes, and the things we carry with us every day.

The Heart of Twig

Twig Creations is, at its core, a love letter to the outdoors — to the places that raised me, the wildlife that still humbles me, and the quiet strength of this planet that continues to adapt and heal.

Alberta will always be my anchor, but the heart of Twig is universal: a reminder that nature belongs to all of us, and that our connection to it is something worth protecting, cherishing, and celebrating.

So here’s to the wild — for what is fierce, for what is fragile, and for what is forever.
